Dear; Sandy6, I have Had to get help from local health and human services , and did get medicaid for myself and children but they can't help with bills because my exwife moved back in with us and has a job that pays $9.00 an hour. I am happy that my exwife has came back to our lives to help after 8 years but a job that pays $9.00 just doesn't support a family of five. However state guide lines say that it does apparently! My SSI claim has been denied twice and I have apealed the decision and am looking for a SS lawyer. I doen't know how the SS administration deny's claims when people have disabilities that render them unable to work, but they do it to every one, they did it to my mother when she was diagnosed with brain cancer , and my father when diagnosed with lung cancer, they both had to hire lawyers, my mother died in 1994,and my father died earlier this year.I think the SS administration needs to be seriously overhauled. Thanks for your reply !!Frank: caught up in red tape
